"Kindergarten and Kindergarten-cum-Child Care Centre Profile 2022" (Kindergarten Profile) is a mobile application of the Education Bureau (EDB). The application provides parents with the information of all registered kindergartens and kindergarten-cum-child care centres in the school year. The parents can make an informed choice for their children by comparing the information provided in the application.
Parents can get information about their children's education and development at the earliest stage by choosing the right kindergarten for their child. The application contains the school information maintained by the Education Bureau, including school name, address, telephone number, fax number, student type, school capacity, non-profit/private independent nature, approved fees (tuition fees, application fees, and registration fees), the number of students, the number of teachers and their qualifications, the ratio of teachers to students, and whether they also provide child care services for children under the age of 3. The parents can also get information about the kindergarten's curriculum, the school's facilities, the teaching style, the fees for educational supplies, admission application information, and monthly salary ranges for principals and teaching staff, teaching years and resource allocation. The parents can also choose whether or not to provide the information of their children's admission. The parents can choose to share their information with their children.
